Pushing Daisies
"A hug can turn your day around, it’s like an emotional Heimlich. Someone puts their arms around you, and they give you a squeeze and all your fear and anxiety comes shooting out of your mouth, and you can breathe again…"

Just Because We're Twins....
Ok, just because we're twins and we live together, doesn't mean i have to know everything that is going on in my sister's life.
Mom, I'm sorry, but if you want to know something about Kristy, ask her. Otherwise, my answer will be "I don't know."

The Man Upstairs
This has been on my mind for some time.
The question is: How do you get closer to God?
My take on this is you walk your daily life with Him, but I wonder, do you really get closer to God by giving up everything such as secular music, certain websites, ...etc. Or is it just a way to convince yourself that losing all these distractions will help you concentrate on only Him.
Is it that more of God is less of you or I?
I don't understand. Can one get closer to Him and not give up everything that makes up who you are and still concentrate on him? Because my point of view is that, if you love Him with all your heart, then nothing will distract you from this connection.
But I can also see that by giving up a part of you, you're allowing all of Him to be a part of you. Take the oil and water analogy for example. If you fill a container with oil and water, the oil will fill the bottom and the water will fill the top. In order to fill the whole container with water, the oil must be taken out. See, the oil is the junk in your life that is unnecessary and the water is His love. In order for God to have your whole heart, your unnecessary needs are not valuble.
My two perspectives. Am I right?

Away from it all
I just want to go somewhere far. To get away from school, responsibilities,...etc.
Do things I've never done before.
Go places I've never been before.
Learn things I've never learned before.
Experience things.
